Our catalog is divided into two categories, Journeys and Natural Spaces.

The Journeys are event-oriented recordings, either something occurring around the listener, or the listener's perspective actually moving through different spaces. They have a wider dynamic range and are more theatrical than the Natural Spaces. Some are enhanced with sound design techniques and subtle film scoring methods to enhance the contrast between tension and release.

The Natural Spaces are either a singular recording edited down to compress the timeline, or have subtle layering to create an idyllic ambience. There is plenty of room for your mind to wander around through the space as the transitions from busy to calm occur slowly and naturally, with less activity in the foreground. They are designed with the listener maintaining a fixed perspective in the scene.

Great care has been taken to maintain the sonic integrity of the recordings, from the original 24-bit 88.2 kHz High-Definition captures, through the editing and composition stages and the final mastering. We deliver the files to you as 320kbps AAC. All our tracks provide the listener with highly believable spatial imaging that stimulates the imagination. The choice is primarily about what you find entertaining and appropriate for your mood at the moment.
