Before You Listen

Our audio is intended for headphone listening.   For the best experience, we recommend sitting comfortably with your eyes closed. When you are not using your eyes, your brain uses sound as its next best source of information about where you are and begins filling in what is missing. This is the start of the journey, when you begin visualizing it. From that point on, the experience is specific to you. After only a few minutes, you will become noticeably more relaxed. When you are comfortable, eyes closed, with no distractions in the room, a truly “being there” experience can occur.

Most people have a tendency to set their initial volume level too high. Listening too loud reduces the quality of the “being there” experience. If you wish to maximize the relaxation benefits of the Naturespace catalog, start with a low volume setting and gradually increase the volume to the level that would actually be occurring in nature.

Never listen to headphones while sleeping. If you want to listen to Naturespace while sleeping, use speakers.
