Can I listen over speakers?
Listening over speakers can be great, it provides a great natural ambience in your home or office, and is very relaxing. It is also very 3-D compared to conventional stereo recordings, it's just not the accurate 3-D holographic imaging that headphones can provide. But we listen to it on our laptops frequently and we enjoy it. Experimentation is encouraged. For more information, visit the Sound of Space page.

Why no mp3?
Holographic sound is delicate and it's sonic integrity must be maintained through every step of the process. Technically speaking, the stereo correlation suffers too much with the mp3 codec. Left and right signals need to work together to create a unified sound field. The mp3 codec damages the unity between left and right.

What happens if I lose the downloaded file?
If you are a registered user you can re-download each file up to three times.

 

Can I play your audio on other portable players besides iPod?
Our audio can play on any device that supports m4a. We deliver the files to you as 320kbps AAC.
